"Mutthmaila" (muddy) is an ode to our carefree, uninhibited and fearless childhood. The time when we played with mud and leaves and were outdoors hunting for shells, stones, coins ad mirrors. I wrote and illustrated this project. It won the first place in the Karuna Stories All India Visual Storytelling contest, an initiative by Olive Ridley Collective in association with National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. This narrative has also been published in The Indian Quarterly 8th Anniversary Special Issue (July-Dec 2020) with English translation called "Mud-Messy". The theme for the issue was "Touch".
